Privacy notice
Last updated 13 October 2026
This notice covers the Auvren waitlist website. Auvren is an Android app in development; the app itself will have its own privacy information when it is available.
What the waitlist stores
When you join the waitlist, one record is created containing:
- your email address;
- whether you ticked the box to receive product updates;
- the time you signed up;
- where you signed up (this landing page) and the record’s status.
The waitlist does not store your name, phone number, notification content, messages, or IP address. This site uses no analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. When you use the signup form, the Firebase software it relies on keeps a small record in your browser storage noting which Firebase version was used and when; it does not contain your email address.
Why it’s stored
To manage the waitlist, including contacting you about early access. Product news and updates are sent only if you ticked the box. Your email address is never sold or shared for anyone else’s marketing.
Where it’s stored
Signups are stored in Cloud Firestore, part of Google’s Firebase platform, which also hosts this website. Like any web host, Firebase Hosting processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How long it’s kept
Until you ask for it to be removed, or until the waitlist is no longer needed after launch, whichever comes first.
Your choices
To be removed from the waitlist, change whether you receive updates, or ask what is stored about you, email hanif.mbb@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. Removal deletes your record from the waitlist.
The app and the waitlist are separate
Auvren is being designed to process notification content on your device. That design goal is about the future app. It does not describe the waitlist, which stores your email address online as explained above.
